Attractions in the area

Wiejce is a paradise for lovers of peaceful country life, hiking, cycling and horse-riding. It is also an ideal place for mushroom pickers. The surrounding routes in the Noteć Forest are an ideal place to organize a carriage ride in one of our carriages. In addition, Warta river flowing through the estate creates great opportunities for canoeists, and the river backwaters and numerous lakes provide anglers with amazing fishing experiences. In the ancient park surrounding the palace provides you with many ways for spending time with family and friends. You can enjoy our giant chess set, boules, volleyball, children's playground or the mini-golf course.

Shooting range

Near the Palace, among the deep woods of the Noteć Forest, we have a professionally equipped shooting range. It is equipped with five high-tech automatic clay pigeon traps., throwing clays at a distance of up to 50 meters. Trying your skills at the shooting range does not require any previous experience with guns, so everyone can have a go. We have friendly instructors who will assist you and give you lessons.

Oder-Warthe-Bogen Fortifications

It is one of the chief attractions of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. It takes only one hour to reach it from Wiejce by car and we will assist you in organising the trip.

There are ways to explore the vast complex:
The short route, which includes a lecture guide in the museum hall, a walk through the fortifications and visiting bunkers. The duration is 1.5 hours.

The long route will allow you to also visit the underground narrow-gauge railway station. The duration is 2.5 hours.

The full route  depending on route selection can tak 4, 6 or 8 hours. This will take you through the hidden underground places not available during the standard sightseeing.

Regional Nature Center in Mniszki

The Center in Mniszki located in the neighboring county of Międzychód is undoubtedly a place worth visiting. There you will find perfectly preserved historic farm buildings, where you can see traditional workshops of dying trades – blacksmith, shoemaker, wickerwork, beekeeper’s house, ancient household appliances, an old school and get to know the traditions of the Kamionka Valley. In addition, the Center offers wickerwork workshops and clay-making techniques.

Thanks to the cooperation with the Center in Mniszki, the workshops of the Vanishing Professions can be carried out for organized groups. There is a possibility of booking for groups of at least 30 people.

Opaliński Castle in Sieraków

The Castle houses a museum of the Opalinski family and many historic temporary exhibitions are organized. The permanent exhibition presents the history of the Sierakowska Land from the earliest times (based on archaeological exhibits) to the present day. Particularly noteworthy is the sarcophagus of the Opaliński family, discovered in 1991 in the crypt of the Bernardine church.

Museum of the Międzyrzecz Region

One of the most charming places of the Lubuskie Province, concentrated in the picturesque surroundings of the ruins of the royal castle from the times of Casimir the Great.Museum of the Miedzyrzecka Region is characterized by the largest collection of coffin portraits in Poland. This collection, supplemented with inscription, is associated with Sarmatian sepulchral customs.

Militaria Anhol - Military Museum

Military museum, established in 2012. The museum has numerous military vehicles and several hundred other exhibits on display, such uniforms or historic equipment items.

Sports complex in Międzychód
