Canoeing excursions are a marvellous way to spend free time. There are several reasons for the great interest aroused by that form of company outings: the possibility of resting in natural open air conditions, time for relaxed fun integrating a given group and also a really enchanting experience.

The Obra is a lowland river in western Poland, a tributary on the left of the Warta river. It is 253 km long, the size of its catchment area being 2813 sq.km. Its sources are to the south-west of Jarocin, and enter the Warta below Skwierzyna.

It flows through Kopanica, Zbaszyń, Trzciel, Międzyrzecz and Skwierzyna.

It is excellent for canoeing tourism over a large section of around 200 km due to the chain of Zbąszyn lakes and canals (South, Middle and North Obra canals and the Mosiński canal) as well as tributaries within the area of Lęgi Obrańskie.

Part of the water of Obra river flows to Obrzyca (right inflow of the Odra river) creating an artificial split of its course: the Obra is connected with Warta river by Mosiński canal near Mosiny, through the South, Middle and North canals with Obrzyca and the Odra, and flows itself through Zbąszyński lakes in its natural channel to the Warta river.

This is a new item in the attractions we offer since everything can be found and admired along its route - historical objects, clean lakes, gorges and tree trunks lying in the water. This canoeing excursion is along an increasingly well known route and really leaves unforgettable impressions.

But its most fascinating attraction is on land - the Międzyrzecz Fortified Region where tens of kilometres of underground corridors, bunkers and other constructions constitute the most unusual underground town in Poland and all Europe. We can take you on a day-long guided excursion along those mysterious underground areas in which an additional attraction is participation in a mediaeval shooting accuracy tournament. And if you want to get there quickly you can take a one-hour train ride from the city of Poznań.
